Administrative Assistant

Kami Morgan is the compassionate and dedicated Administrative Assistant at AdvoKids, where she plays a crucial role in supporting parents of children with Individualized Education Programs (IEPs) and 504 Plans. Living in Oak Ridge with her husband and sons, Kami combines her personal experience and professional background to support families while they are navigating the special education system.

Before joining AdvoKids, Kami spent three years working in a CDC classroom, where she gained invaluable experience working directly with children with special needs. Her passion for helping others and her extensive background in special education have equipped her with the skills to provide exceptional support to families.

Kami’s role involves managing day-to-day operations, facilitating communication between families and advocates, and organizing resources to ensure that parents have the information and assistance they need. Known for her kindness and approachable nature, Kami excels at making families feel supported and understood throughout their advocacy journey.

Her lifelong commitment to supporting individuals with special needs is reflected in both her professional endeavors and personal life. Kami’s dedication and empathy shine through in every interaction, making her a cherished member of the AdvoKids team.

When she’s not working, Kami enjoys spending quality time with her family, engaging in community activities, and continuing her lifelong learning about special education and advocacy.
